A few changes and rules to highlight per rule book below:

  • Playtime - Playtime will be monitored closely so please make sure everyone is getting equal playtime. This is mandatory.
  • K/1st, 2nd/3rd, and 4th/5th plays 7v7 on field size 80x40. 6th and 7th/8th play full field 7v7
  • Defensive Penalties: Defensive Off sides is a 5-yard penalty. Offense will replay the down. This will be a Dead ball foul.
  • Taunting - +10yards from LOS & Automatic first down. If a touch down is scored during a taunting play the touch down will count and the ball will be placed on the 30-yard line.
  • Play Clock starts when the Ball is spotted, not when the play is over.
  • DBS have to play the ball. Corner back will have to turn in the direction of the ball. If both players happen to contact each other while both playing the ball, no foul will be called. A corner cannot slap the receiver's hands. He must get his hands on the ball first.
  • Down Field Blocking- NO BLOCKING. Receivers cannot run down the field with the receiver who has the ball.
  • Mercy Rule - If winning team is up by 28 points at the start of the 4th quarter, the opposing team has one possession to score. If they fail to score the game will be recorded at the score as it is and the game will go into scrimmage mode. The clock will not stop.
  • No longer allowed to tape pockets- If your player has shorts with pockets he will not be able to play.
  • Mouth Guards are mandatory
  • Full Field - Grades 6th and 7th/8th - Home team will be on the side without the parents. The away team will be on the side with the parents. We will try this out, if there are any incidents we will go back to the way it was.
